1. Who You Are Contracting With

CeliacFinder is operated by Celiac Finder ("we", "us", "our"). By using the service you are entering into an agreement with Celiac Finder. References to "CeliacFinder" in these Terms mean the service provided by Celiac Finder.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CeliacFinder, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Description of Service

CeliacFinder provides a directory of gluten-free and celiac-safe venues worldwide. Information is sourced from public data and community submissions. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any listing.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account using email or Google authentication. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Business Subscriptions, Payments & Merchant of Record

Venue owners may subscribe to the Business plan to submit and manage venue listings. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns and refunds. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are also governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The CeliacFinder service, including its software, design, branding, and aggregated content, is owned by Celiac Finder and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the service.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as venue information and reviews), and grant Celiac Finder a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: using it unlawfully, submitting false or misleading information, infringing others' rights, attempting to interfere with security, scraping at scale, or distributing malware.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice, if you (a) materially breach these Terms, (b) fail to pay amounts due, (c) create a security or fraud risk, or (d) engage in repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time by closing your account. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CeliacFinder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that listed venues are safe for celiac or gluten-sensitive individuals. Always verify safety protocols directly with the venue before dining.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Celiac Finder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
